    Western Association of Schools and Colleges

    WASC is one of six private, nonprofit, regional accrediting authorities in the United States. WASC provides assistance and accreditation to schools located in California, Hawaii, the Pacific Islands and East Asia.

    As an international and high profile accrediting agency, WASC is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and services over 4,000 schools, aiming to foster excellence in education by encouraging continuous school improvement.

    All Singapore International Schools have been accredited by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

    Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board

    Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB), formerly the Examinations Division of the Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore, was formed to develop and conduct national examinations in Singapore and to provide other examinations and assessment services, locally as well as overseas.

    KinderWorld was appointed as a Designated Overseas Agent in April 2005 by the SEAB, to conduct the Singapore International Primary School Examination (iPSLE).

    The iPSLE is an international version of the Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) taken by Singaporean students after six years of education in a Primary school (usually at the age of 12).

    KinderWorld’s Singapore International Schools are registered with Cambridge International Examinations to teach and assess the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Cambridge International AS and A Levels.

    The IGCSE is taken in over 100 countries worldwide and is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 -16 years old. The IGCSE is recognised by Universities and employers worldwide as a mark of quality signifying clear evidence of a student’s ability.

    The Cambridge International AS and A Levels are internationally benchmarked qualifications providing excellent preparation for university under graduate education. They are taken in over 125 countries and are widely recognised by universities and employers alike.

  • American College Test (ACT)

    ACTACT, USA and ACT Education Solutions Limited, Australia

    An agreement with ACT Education Solutions Limited was signed in January 2008 certifying KinderWorld’s Singapore International Schools in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi as American College Test (ACT) Centres. Under this agreement, KinderWorld also conducts the Global Assessment Certificate (GAC).

    The GAC is a University Preparation Programme that provides students with the academic knowledge, skills and confidence to successfully complete a Bachelor Degree at one of many GAC pathway universities around the world.

    ACT is an independent, non-profit organization and is one of the foremost providers of educational testing, workforce development, and research services in the world.

    To provide vocational learning opportunities for our students and trainees, KinderWorld operates a training arm in Australia named Pegasus UniCollege Australia which offers training courses in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Commercial Cookery, Business and Early Childhood Education at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels through Pegasus UniCollege in Vietnam.

    The campus is administered as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 31984) under the Australian Qualification and Training Framework (AQTF).

    Edinburgh Napier University is one of Scotland’s largest universities with over 15,000 students studying courses in Arts, Business, Computing and Information Technology, Health Care, Engineering and Science.

    Edinburgh Napier University is a recipient of the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education for providing a world-class standard of excellence.

    KinderWorld’s Pegasus International UniCollege JSC (PIU) signed an MOU with Edinburgh Napier University in September 2011 to develop an articulation pathway for our students.

    Baylor University is a highly respected private Baptist university in Waco, Texas. Baylor is now a preeminent research university with a distinct undergraduate focus that offers 144 undergraduate programs and 109 graduate programs for students from all over the world. Its emphasis on education is demonstrated by a 14:1 student-faculty ratio.

    The KinderWorld Group signed an articulation agreement with Baylor University on Wednesday, 22 May 2013. This agreement will allow 20 students from the Singapore International Schools to be admitted each academic year.

    A premier independent school in Singapore with a rich history of 90 years, Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) has produced 50 President’s Scholars to date. It is one of the finest educational institutions for high-achievers and the gifted in the region.

    Through a mutual collaboration, both KinderWorld and Hwa Chong aim to provide opportunities for students to participate in learning experiences and leadership programmes at each other’s school campuses.

    This relationship also provides opportunities for teacher attachments designed to promote and improve effective pedagogy, teaching capacity and leadership capacity.
