Extra Curricular Activities

Singapore International School provides a range of after-school activities designed to develop and build on student’s interests and talents.

These acitivites are conducted from 4:15 – 5:00 p.m. most days after school. The range of activities varies each term. A small fee is charged to cover the costs of running the after-school activities programme.

Vietnamese Language Club
  • Vietnamese Language Club
    Help students to improve their Vietnamese language proficiency through speaking and reviewing vocabulary and grammar.
  • Mandarin Club
    Students can learn about Chinese culture and literature through video, audio and reading materials.
  • Tudy support Club
    Students can complete homework and review school work with assistance.
  • Maths Club
    Small group guided mathematics practice and support.
  • Piano
    Individual piano lessons provided by our experienced piano teacher.
  • English Club
    Speaking, listening, reading, grammar and comprehension are all covered in this enjoyable club.
  • Cooking Club
    Learn to bake cookies and cakes as well as delicious, healthy snacks.
  • Gardening Club
    Learn to grow and care for plants as well as tend a vegetable patch.
  • Dance Club
    Learn dance theory through traditional and modern dance. For fitness, fun and confidence.
  • Chess Club
    Instruction and coaching to all levels provided from Beginners to Advanced.
  • Learn To Swim
    Instruction and coaching to all levels provided from Beginners to Advanced.
  • Performing Arts
    Focus will be on confidence, singing, dancing and acting to create a fun and meaningful club.
  • Yoga for Kids
    Develop strength and flexibility and improve your health in these fun yoga exercises designed for children.
  • Mini Board games
    Play board games to develop strategy, thinking, math and language skills.
  • ICT Club
    Develop computer skills in this fun class for beginners.
  • Handicrafts Club
    Learn a variety of handcrafts and activities.
  • Mini Games Club
    Play modified sports and activities to develop motor skills and teamwork in preparation for Year 1.

    Learn the alphabet and develop phonemic awareness in this introductory English class.
