SIS @ BDNC recently held a week-long event with the theme ‘Wild About Reading!’ that was full of fun educational activities for all students.
The week kicked off with exciting reading challenges such as the ‘Drop Everything and Read!’ challenge, Character Art Challenge, My Favourite Book Show and Tell, and Peer Reading- Read Aloud! The most popular challenge was ‘Drop Everything and Read!’, where students stopped whatever they were doing and read a book for 15 minutes when they heard the Reading Bell!
On Thursday and Friday, we hosted a Book Fair in the Multi-Purpose Hall, and all students were invited to browse and choose from a great selection of books to take home and read with their families.To wrap up the week, we had a Book Character Fancy Dress event where students dressed up as their favorite book characters.
It was a wonderful week filled with learning and fun!
